Heeral Shivnani is a distinguished clinical dietitian and wellness F&B specialist, boasting a notable background with over five years of experience in both California and the UAE. An alumni of the University of California, Berkeley, Heeral graduated with a Bachelor’s in Nutritional Science & Toxicology – Dietetics, earning high distinction for her academic excellence. Complementing her deep understanding of nutrition, she holds multiple certifications including Clinical Dietitian from Dubai Health Authority and Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist from the USA. Beginning her career at UC San Diego Health, Heeral's expertise spans a vast array of skills from nutrition consulting and medical nutrition therapy to food service operations and e-commerce. Her experiences expanded across various capacities including a nutrition & food science internship at Kitopi & Right Bite and a collaboration with Givaudan, further sharpening her skills in food service operations and recipe evaluation. In her current role as a Nutritionist at SIRO One Za’abeel, Heeral has significantly influenced the wellness and F&B offerings. She has co-developed in-room dining and custom meal plan menus, spearheading the set-up of an efficient process flow for meal plan operations dedicated to in-house guests and SIRO members, co-designed menus for the Refuel Bar, and collaborated on with local F&B brands to create custom co-branded products for SIRO. Heeral’s expertise extends into fitness nutrition, which has allowed her to collaborate with SIRO’s master trainers and fitness experts to support members in meeting their individual health and weight management goals. Heeral also plays a critcal role in the educational aspect of nutrition at SIRO by co-organizing and hosting community-centric workshops, providing valuable insights and promoting a deeper understanding of nutrition among the community. Heeral possesses a versatile skill set that spans nutritional analysis, diet education, content creation, and food service management.
