TENUTE SEIDITA
Tenute Seidita is a three-generation family business specializing in extra virgin olive oil and table olives since 1922, located on Sicily’s southwest coast between Campobello di Mazara and Castelvetrano. Spanning over 100 hectares with 15,000 olive trees, primarily Nocellara del Belice and Giarraffa varieties, 30% of the trees are centuries old. The olives are hand-harvested and processed within 10 hours to preserve freshness. Their extra virgin olive oil is cold-pressed and naturally decanted, while the table olives are processed naturally. Every step, from harvesting to packaging, is managed in-house, with packaging only done upon order to ensure freshness. The business holds several certifications, including Bio, PGI, HACCP, Kosher (KLBD), and SlowFood Presidium. Their Nocellara del Belice table olives won the Gold award at the 2024 Mediterranean Taste Awards in London.
